Education

Daylight is a boarding school; however local children are welcome to attend.
We are a private school educating pre-school through 8th grade students.
Education is valued by the community in Kenya as their ticket to a better life for their children. The children take it very seriously and listen intently to their teachers.
The students see their education at Daylight as a privilege, not to be taken lightly.
Kenya's new Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) focuses on four key skills, called the four C's: communication, critical thinking, citizenship, and creativity. These skills were chosen to help students thrive in a changing, digital world.
This curriculum nurtures the student’s talents without limits. Children are allowed to find their interests among the wide range of opportunities and activities provided by the syllabus.
Every student must go through a minimum of 17 levels, with each class lasting one year.
The levels are divided into 4 groups.
Early Year Education (Pre-Primary & Lower Primary)
Middle School (Upper Primary & Lower Secondary)
Senior School (Upper Secondary)
Tertiary Education (TVET or University)
